A ground mounting system concrete base is a crucial part of solar panel ground mounting systems and other ground-based installations. Here is an introduction to it:

 

Function:

 

Load Bearing:It bears the weight of the ground mounting system and solar panels, as well as external forces like wind and snow. It ensures the stability and safety of the entire system, preventing the solar panels from being damaged or even collapsing due to insufficient support.

Fixing and Positioning:Accurately fixes the position of the ground mounting system, ensuring that the solar panels are installed at the designed angle and orientation. This is important for optimizing the capture of solar energy and improving the power generation efficiency of the solar panels.

Concrete Pouring

Concrete Mixing:Accurately weigh and mix cement, sand, gravel, water and other materials according to the designed mix ratio to ensure the uniformity and workability of the concrete.

Pouring Operation:Pour the concrete into the formwork evenly and continuously. Use vibration equipment to vibrate the concrete in a timely manner during the pouring process to remove air bubbles and ensure the density and compactness of the concrete.

Surface Finishing and Curing

Surface Finishing:After the concrete is poured, use tools such as a trowel to level and smooth the surface of the concrete to meet the design requirements for flatness.

Curing:Cover the concrete surface with a curing material in a timely manner and keep it moist to prevent cracks caused by rapid water loss. The curing time is usually 7 to 14 days.
